YQL90, Inc. ("YQL90", "we", "us") is a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what we collect when you visit yql90.com or join our list, and what we do with it. Questions go to hello@yql90.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you tap Notify me.
- Anything you send us, if you write to us.
- Visit counts. We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites. It tells us totals: how many people visited, which pages they read, which site sent them, and their country and type of device. It never identifies you.
- Basic technical records our web host keeps to run the site securely, such as IP addresses, for a short time.
We don't use advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies.
How we use it
- To tell you when the app goes live
- To send you our letters and news, which you can stop at any time
- To answer you when you write to us
- To understand how the site is used and keep it secure
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services that help us run YQL90, each bound to protect it:
- Substack, which sends our letters. Substack's own privacy policy also applies to your subscription.
- Our web host and analytics provider, to run and measure the site
- Google Workspace, our email
We'll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Technical records are kept only as long as needed for security.
Your choices
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to hello@yql90.com to see, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent to send you emails and on our legitimate interest to measure and protect the site. You can withdraw consent at any time, object to our use of your information, and complain to your local data protection authority.
If you live in California, you have the right to know what we hold, to delete it, and to correct it. We don't sell or share personal information.
Where your information is held
YQL90 is based in the United States, and our service providers may store information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer information out of Europe, we rely on our providers' approved safeguards.
Age
yql90.com and our list are for adults 18 and over.
The app
When the YQL90 app opens, it will have its own privacy policy covering what you share inside it. Nothing you share in the app is covered by this website policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll tell you by email.
